I’m just going to cut right to the chase-these are my two most favorite blogs EVER. Period. Both have changed the way I shop and think about my purchases, and I couldn’t be more eager to share them with you!
My go-to coupon and free sample blog: Hip2Save
I first discovered the Hip2Save YouTube channel about a year and a half ago. I stumbled across the “Dollar Store Discoveries” video on YouTube. As a diehard Dollar Tree aficionado, I eagerly watched the clip. I also noticed the name of the YouTube channel-Hip2Save. Intrigued, I watched a few other videos, including Rite Aid and CVS shopping trips. I watched in awe as the bubbly and animated Hip2Save guru Collin Morgan literally MADE MONEY after purchasing many items at Rite Aid. Yes, you read that correctly. It is possible to earn a profit while shopping.
Currently, I am unabashedly obsessed with Collin’s blog. I check it several (or if we’re being honest, MANY) times per day to see new deals, free sample offers and so much more. In particular, all of Hip2Save’s free sample offers are completely legit, and are sometimes for FULL SIZE products! (A post on my free sample scores to come soon!)
One of the stand-out portions of the blog is Collin’s Weekly Drugstore Deal breakdowns. She literally lists every item in the Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS ads, the prices for each item and ANY available coupon (s) for that item. It makes shopping at the drugstore way too easy, and it is truly the easiest way to understand how to save with coupons and sales.
So, if you are interested in learning more about coupons, online deals, samples, and tips to help you save as much money as possible, check out Hip2Save!
My go-to affordable beauty blog: Nouveau Cheap
I am ashamed to admit that I can’t quite recall how I discovered this amazing blog, but I am SO glad that I did! Nouveau Cheap’s author, G, is all about drugstore cosmetics.
The blog features in-depth, honest reviews of cosmetics, hair and skin care, nail polish, etc. G regularly posts about beauty coupons, drugstore beauty sales and her weekly Wednesday question for followers to answer in the comments section.
I fully trust her reviews, and I always check her blog before I even think about buying a product. I have most definitely bought products based off her recommendations alone, and they are products that I have absolutely loved, and still love today (Examples: Maybelline Super Stay Concealer and Physician’s Formula Powder Foundation).
Basically, if you love drugstore products, Nouveau Cheap is a must-read. You’re welcome!
